i can never be sure if these are from manufacturing defect or over use..

what motor is that magnet bowl from?
If it was working ok before you opened it then I'd keep using it, but I'd replace that bearing for a sealed one.

I would guess it got hot. Hot enough, it can demagnetize it. I have some from a brushed motor that won't stick to the fridge door anymore.

If still strongly magnetic, then my approach would be to get some high temp epoxy into those cracks, and give er a go.

No.thats my opinion.because when they break the piece it
creates it's own magnetic poles. So at the cracks
they repel each other. There's two magnets were there should be just one.I would replace all the magnets that motor .

i attached a ca temp sensor to the outside of the stator for this reason it reached around 40 cellius , getting a new one is a problem coghog sent one for 160 $ But you cant just it as spare parts.

the bmc motor itself is a conondrum and a contradiction. On one hand its officially rated as 600w but if you try to use with a 6 fet controler, the motion wouldn't be smooth, and you could feel it straining.
If you try to use it with a controller that came with it you'd have a blown capacitor in 30 minutes.
If you use with a 12 fet controller you'd have smooth motion, speed, but also usage of 2000w ,that trying to monitor and control with ca is problematic.
