I am Canadian and it is Great to have the American people as neighbours & Best Friends. In our travels to other countries when we (American's & Canadians) meet-up we always talk with each other as best friends. We have a unique and excellent friendship!

For anyone interested the Paralympics are now underway.
You can watch wheelchair curling, sledge hockey, people skiing on one leg with one arm, etc.
The most exciting for me would have to be the blind biathlon.
These games don't get the hype and coverage of the able bodied Olympics but the athleticism is every bit as equal if not more.
Enjoy them if you get the chance.
