Hey there. I live in Canada and am in the process of building an e bike with a 5000w hub motor. I’m looking for a trusted vendor to supply a 72v 40Ah battery pack for this bike. There are many Chinese vendors on Alibaba, but I’m a bit nervous committing that kind of money without knowing what I’m going to get will be of good quality. Does anyone know of a good custom battery vendor out of Canada, US or even China?

I've a 10 year history of great batteries from EM3ev. Cellman has been a member here for over a decade.
I’ve checked with EM3ev based on some other threads, but they told me they are not doing custom batteries anymore, at least in the near term. I’ll maybe check with Eon Power. I’m not opposed to using a Chinese vendor through Alibaba, but just want some reassurance that someone else has used them and endorse the end product.
