I was looking for a simple carrying case for my Luna bottle battery and charger -- something I can fold up small enough to fit in a seat wedge (so maybe made of a mesh material?). So that when I get to work, I can take the battery (and charge) inside easily. I'm envisioning something like a miniature duffle bag or something like that.

My basic 52V 11.5ah LunaCycle pack fits in a nylon draw-string bag (small shortened beach chair bag) with some plastic cardboard cushioning around it,... a simple bracket mounts where the bottle bracket had and a Velcro strap secures the battery to it. I can then carry my charger and all I basically need in a small Axiom bag on the bars, under the seat, or even over my shoulder.

I would think a shortened beach chair bag would also work for your bottle battery,.... like a mini duffle-bag, jus stuff it in your pocket till needed.

Thanks, that is exactly what I was looking for. Never thought of re-purposing a different product.

My main goal was to not only carry the battery (as a simple strap would probably work), but to avoid looking like I was carrying something that can go boom.

5-15-16 002.jpgI had a genuine US Air Force insulated flight suit that I rarely used in the winter as it was TOO warm, and hard to get off and on. So it sat unused for a year or two until I recently "re-purposed" it for a couple battery bags for the airplane. The bag is made of Aramid, similar to Nomex, it and the insulating padding is extremely fire resistant. All I had to do was cut the legs off the suit, and sew the ends shut! The existing zippers work perfect for getting the battery in and out, the insulation serves as padding, and I secure them to the planes lift struts rather then carry them inside near fuel lines etc.
