Need charger to charge 24v 100ah calb cells pack.
I will use the pack with BMS where shunting starts at 3.5v/cell.
So i would like to charge to about 3.55v/cell leaving some time for shunting/balancing and at the same time not reaching 3.65v/cell which is default for most lifepo4 24v/8s chargers.

That gives me 28.4v ideal value.
The programmable chargers like Satiator are out of my budget, so i was thinking using lead acid or gel battery 24v charger to achieve this lower/cell rate.
Are their cons in doing that?

You can have them set to any voltage you want. And in most you can adjust a pot in them to change it also.

Yes, just get a 24v charger designed for lithium, and set for 3.65v per cell for lifepo4.

so you don't buy the 'slightly undercharge = longer battery life'?

Seems like they not very reliable:
