Chopper bike to carry passenger?

Hello there,

I previously tried the passengerseat with one of my (stolen) bike:

It was funny but really not easy to handle when I had a passenger on the rear. Turning and starting from slope was such a pain. Handling wasn't really great. So I thought this solution wasn't the best one to carry passenger.


I'm now thinking maybe to get chopper bike with long wheel base and fat tyres, it should give me much more stability with a passenger:

If I electrify it, would I...
- Not be stopped by police with something that looks like a motorbike
- Be able to carry passenger safely on the same seat?

What you need for carrying passengers is a longtail. And Ideally the passenger is fairly light.

Dogman's right. you need a longtail, not a chopper. With a cruiser or chopper, your weight is mostly on the rear wheel. Adding a passanger would add even more weight to the rear and make the bike very unstable. A long tail has the weight more evenly distributed between the wheels.
You can convert an old tandem bike into a longtail cargo bike, and add a seat when you choose.
