Clean Republic , worst ever ???

i bought a "Clean Republic's Hill Topper Lithium electric bike conversion kit " and it did not even last 1 year before massive failure......Bewar of this company, they have terrible customer service and will not honor their warranty.....

Give us some more info and pics if possible, there are plenty of problems that can be fixed and ES has a great community to help you fixing your kit, if its possible or if its worth to fix.

Thanks and i appreciate you kind response.........after the failure of the battery, i sent it back to Clean republic.....the told me that my battery was recently upgraded as they has many other failures and that there new one would not work with my old charger....after trying to negotiate with there customer service it went south and i told them to send everything back to me....this is how vindictive their customer support in North Dakota is, they told me my battery and charger was misplaced and could not be found and it would be replaced for a slight discount for the price of a new one..LOL........I promptly said NO and bought another one from All Power Supplky out of Ca. and it is working great.......Needless to say, i'm not a fan of Clean Republic and reported their business practices to the Attorney General which nothing has become of it....so now i'm trying to inform other potential customers of Clean Republics terrible service...

That's a sad thing to hear. Well, this is the right place to find info if you plan to build another ebike...

its not a problem, another life learning expierence & I did use their only other component, front wheel hub motor which still works with the battery i bought from all power, so i still have great a working ebike and have book marked this informative and great site for future information.....
