I use an ESP32 to receive throttle input, output PWM to VESC (Spintend 85/250), I use hall sensor (tried sensorless with no difference). I look at the input in VESC tools where it reads fairly stable input signal. esp32 powered by vesc 5v from ppm out.
Something else happens when I let go of the throttle quickly, it continues to send power to my motor for about 2 sec then drops to zero, if throttle released slowly, it works fine.
