Has anyone have experience with either spot welding or ultrasonic welding to form a battery pack using batteries with a aluminum alloy based anode. the cathode is no problem spot welding with a conventional spot welder but the anode will not reliably keep the connection. It eventually weakens or never makes a good connection and fails . Does anyone have a solution using ultrasonic or maybe a compression technique to form a reliable battery pack with these batteries that don't have a steel based anode?
Please any suggestions.
