I'm collection parts for my next build. I started a thread a long time ago, but it has taken so long to get everything together I let it slip. Anyway... I need some suggestions on a controller and throttle setup. I have a 600w brushed currie motor and I am going to run Lipo's with it. I have run 36v of sla and was pretty happy with performance. I am debating between 22.2v or 44.4v of lipo. I want similar or better performance than the 36v sla.

I am struggling with what controller and throttle setup to use with it. Will a 48v brushed controller like below work?

48V 1000W Electric Scooter Speed Controller
48 Volt 1000 Watt output. Designed for 500-1000 Watt motors. Under Voltage protect 41 Volts. Current limiting feature prevents controller damage due to over-current conditions. Under voltage protection feature prevents over-discharge and extends battery life. Uses variable speed hall-effect throttle.

Middle one.

And how about a cheap hall throttle like below as well.

Any of these hall throttles.

To keep my lipo from bursting into flames while running, will the throttelizer of Fetchers box of tricks work and which one is suggested.

Open to all suggestions, even if it is outside what I have put forward.

When I get my motor mount I'll start a build thread so you can see the setup.
