Converting a 10s6p battery pack into a 7s9p

I have a 10s6p e-bike pack that I want convert into a 7s9p without completely breaking down the pack so I have cut the nickel strip series string at 7s and am redistributing the cells from 8s-10s back to 1s-7s in parallel-connected groups of 3 by means of wires rated for 15A as illustrated in the pic below. I have had to add an additional 3 cells to get 7s9p. Is there anything wrong with this approach in principle? Thanks in advance for any opinions.

How old is his 36 volt pack. What are you going to use it for and how many amps are you going to draw from it and where did you originally get the battery from.
