Corded Mower Conversion to Lipo

Awesome mower! Very stealthy too. There must be some belt you engage for the cutting blades. At least you can hear some kind of belt starting up. Nice work! 8)

Yes... All operations are the same! The down shaft has the original belt pulley a fixed to it. :) It's a double pulley, one drive and one for the blades :)

found me the 48v mower above used for 50 bux without any batter whatsoever.

had it cutting grass on 12s lipo before the sun went down. Not as quite as id like , but a big improvement over the gas mower I have.

Going to sharpen the blade tomorrow and see how she does in the back yard.

Nice looking mower! Kind of space age in fact. There's a lot of good reviews too. The only thing that would concern me is that it has a 600 watt motor as opposed to my Black and Decker with a 12 amp motor at 120 volt which makes for a 1440 watt motor, right? Plus it has a 20 inch blade compared to my 18 inch. I'm sure it has a well designed motor otherwise it wouldn't get so many good reviews. Again just like Lowes Kolbalt mower it has a smaller 224 watthour battery compared to my 600 watthour lipo battery but hey, they're not experienced in making long range ebike battery packs.

Btw: Sorry for the slow response. I took a week off to finish moving and I'm now painting. I can't wait until I'm done. :D

Could you just hook up a 58V (fully charged) Headway pack to the EGO mower and get 15Ahr just like that? I'm tempted.
I don't see why not. As long as you have the room to mount it and a way to hook up to the motor. Maybe you could reuse the quick connect feature of the original pack somehow? Anyway, that would give you an 870 watt hour pack. You could mow for quite a while. 8)
