yo, I'm pretty sure this is spam. No need to report it, but you're advertising in the non-commercial subforum for a product you're selling.

Also, if goldemotor rates their controllers in the same way as kelly, then you need to derate the amp rating in your mind when you calculate the "power in" of the controller. 500amp phase at 90v is not 500 amp battery. I was going to mention this on your selling thread but I have no idea if GM rates by phase or battery current, so I don't want to sidetrack the information with a theoretical problem.

Well My last controller the hpc300h 300 amp rated

It ran at close to 200 amp peaks @ 20s lipo, I cant comment to much on the continuous but its pretty high, im more focused on riding with high power ebikes , so maybe 300 amps phase... not sure...
this controller will do 20 kw peak on the cycle analyst for sure, im not sure the 100% max it can do as i have not tested it, its in the box and its a different model to the last one... if you dont see 20 kw, send it back to me and ill refund the money
but i wont refund it for anything else , blowing it from user error... ect

Please make any comments as i only want accurate information.
Not trying to spam, just offering someone a good deal really, im keen to see someone build an electric bike out of it.

Cool, so it is then the old one probably rated at 300 amp phase / 200 amp battery, for peaks. Likewise this better one is also phase-amp rated.

I would agree with you that your sale thread is not spam. and! It's a good deal for anyone looking for that specific GM controller. Pretty powerful =D. 20kw is not chump change.

but this thread here, is kind of spam, because it's not about anything than the sale of the thread...

I was thinking this would go well with a yuba mundo + mars style motor and this controller.
Could be used for a motorbike, but i think using this power on an ebike is more fun

Just noticed the most obvious thing ever.

No more than 350 battery amps as the fuse is 350 amp rated, so maybe you will get close to 300 amps battery current with this controller, maybe less, but still you would get 20 kw peak from a freshly charged 20s lipo pack ( 250 amp x 80 volts = 20kw )(300 x 80 volts = 24kw)

this controller has warranty under my name, so perhaps this will give you piece of mind if something happens from regular use, it should be covered for 12 months from memory, prob like 11 months 3 weeks left ( has to be sent back to chinatown). Ill give you my contact details just in case anything happens, but i think it should be safe to use with extra cooling, not set on max power..
I noticed i have a large heatsink that will fit the back of the controller but it will be actually longer than the controller, but not as wide.
I can chuck this in and a cheap 12 volt fan if any one wants to use it for this controller.
