Crystalyte controller 7240 12V/5V DC?

Hi,

i think i blew my controller. Right now i am putting new mosfet´s in. I saw on the PCB that there are 12 Volt DC and 5 Volt DC connections. Does anyone know the specs of this connection´s? Can i hook a small PC-Vent to one of the connections?
