I'm writing to ask if the issues with the Currie IZIP Zuma step through frame have been worked out with the current model. There seem to be reports of rattling issues of the frame in the 2011 version, IIRC. I will be using the step through frame, I'm a male, 215 lbs.

I just ordered the bike ( black step through frame. ) :::Crossing fingers::

Anybody recommend a set of panniers that will fit that the large-looking battery rack? I'm going with http://www.amazon.com/Avenir-Metro-Panniers-Cubic-Inch-Capacity/dp/B00165Q90I

If you're referring to the 'frame wobble' in the older version of the Zuma... then yes... it's been corrected. Additional frame supports were added that make it feel much more stable - especially at high speeds. It's tough to completely eliminate the 'wobble' on a step-through frame when the battery is mounted in the rear, but the newer version is definitely much more RIGID...

Careful when ordering panniers for that thing. The rack is made with a larger-than-normal diameter tube. Coupled with the tight clearance from the battery and it makes it tough to find a good working pannier. The one you listed here looks like it might work but it could be too narrow of a gap since the battery/rack is fairly wide.
