Does anyone know of a manufacturer for custom sprockets that will make a #25 chain sprocket in sizes above 100 teeth? I just found Rebel Gears most likely does, they will be getting back to me on a quote. I'm just trying to see what else is out there, and if there are nylon sprockets available too? I'm not putting mega power through the sprocket so I think nylon would be fine, and lighter.

I like the #25 chain because it's so quiet and lightweight, and is plenty strong enough for my needs (1000w typical max).

I'm looking to mate it with my 15 tooth roller bearing front motor sprocket, so I really need more than a 5.33 reduction (currently the largest sprocket is 80, there is a 90 available too, but I really need a 120 or so).

SDP SI have them, up to 125 teeth, as a stock item (in steel). You'd need to mill away some of the plate to reduce the weight a bit, though... https://sdp-si.com/eStore/Direct.asp?GroupID=586

You can also find them already made in exercycle type equipment; I have a 144 tooth "sawblade" from one of the exercycles that has the arm pivots plus the pedals, plus a little (I think) 11-tooth one off the load-fan. Sorry I don't remember the brand name, but I think I have that info on my Electricle blog in the post about that unit and sprocket, from I think sometime late in 2008.

So you could find them already made as replacement parts for that type of equipment at repair centers and online parts stores.

There are a lot of interesting sprockets here:

but they don't all have pics, and I am not sure if any of them are the right pitch or number of teeth. You might be able to ask them, though.
