CYC X1 'Gear' version

I like the idea of the final reduction being like the (nylon?) 'gear' version of the CYC X1. Does anyone know how well it holds up? Does anyone have a lead on some aftermarket parts to make that happen for my own design?

It's metal, and you could probably buy it from CYC themselves if you can convince them you own a X1 and want to swap from the chain version. "sorry I bought it used I dunno what the order details were"

Btw, you can fit the chain and chain cogs on it with some finesse, it is basically long vs short bracket.
