I am doing some maintenance on my bike and pulled the chainrings off and I can't remember which holes in the freewheel sprag clutch flange the chainring assembly needs to be bolted onto... the threaded ones, or the non-threaded ones? It seems either would work with the backing nuts installed. It also seems like the threaded holes could be used without the backing nuts by applying a little blue Loc-Tite to the screws. Unfortunately the manual is silent on all this. Does anyone have "the answer"? Has anyone tried it with Loc-Tite and no nuts?
