Gooday,Having recently pulled apart my Cyclone 180W motor, I"m trying to determine the purposes(s) of the 5 wires attached to the controller circuit board. There are 3 heavy white cables and 2 finer yellow cables all soldered to the circuit board. They all come out of the motors copper windings at various points.I think the yellow wires are indicator or sensor type cables that show various characteristic of the motor(Low voltage,Brake? havent got a clue) would like to know the specific characteristic these cables .The White wires look like they carry alot of current but what other purpose? Any ideas? :?

the yellow wires are for a thermal cutout switch. usually set for 105C. it is just sort of a last ditch thing to try to protect the wiring from melting.

3 wires, heavy current , disappear into the motor windings of a BLDC motor. They would be the individual phase windings.

You should also have two heavy gauge wires and a 5 (?) pin connector that leave the motor casing. Battery and throttle connections.
