Cytronex Trek Pics and Slideshow

Very nice looking ride.
So the bar ends have the on/off switch and a 2 speed selector, what does that do?
And what is the other button on the handlebar attached to the reflector and handle looking thing?

How about a report on how it goes?
Good luck with the Tongxin.

Cheers.

Very elegant bike. If that is all Trek's design I am really impressed. I have seen other earlier Trek E-Bikes but none which looked quite as sophisticated as yours. They were all a lot more clunky looking!

Enjoy!

Hi Gregory,

The 2 speed selector provides as you would imagine 2 power levels , low and high, this is independant of the level of pedal assistance, but obviously the more you pedal the faster the bike will go. The other switch on the handlebars is for the lights, they also include an led light which illuminates the speedo.

I am not able to provide a report at the moment as I broke a bone in my right hand 5 weeks ago, so need a couple more weeks to get back in the saddle.

Hi,
This a standard Trek FX73 which has been very cleverly modified by Cytronex using their innovative system, not by Trek.

Hi,

Resurrecting this thread as I'm interested in buying a cytronex bike for daily commute (12 miles one way with 5% incline).

How have you got on with the bike? Any pros or cons?

Cheers,
Prek
