Awesome vid! The enduro guy looked like he was struggling to stay on over rough sections that the DH'er just floated over. I bet if the track had less rock gardens and had wider turns then the result would have been opposite. Just goes to show light weighted nimbleness has the advantage on a track like that. Thanks for sharing!

Suprising to me the DH bike didn't win by more margin. You could definitely see the handling handicap the heavier motorcycle had.

Tis why I'll always have my best mountain bike left cherry, for riding with no motors and batteries weight.

Both outstanding riders. Good filming and fun activity.

There is a big difference between the two machines though.
The KTM could likely climb that trail back to the top in not too much more time than it took to go down.

Indeed, with a few more tries I bet the enduro could have floated that wet root section just like the DH bike. Maybe....



I keep my best mountain bike pedal power for the same reasons. There is a lot to be said for just having fun on a lightweight machine.

That looked like an awesome ride! And more captivating because I think I might have passed through or near that part of Scotland by way of Glencoe and round to Oban on the shortest day in December no less. Spectacular country even in winter; simply majestic! Wouldn’t mind going back.
