Daymac max ebike power cutout

My max ebike dies when I am in high gear and when you brake in any mode even pedal assist the power level does not register higher then 2 bars when throttling is this a battery issue im green at this and I not want to damage my bike more than it is already

How old is it and what does high gear mean, do you mean the gear you're pedaling in, IE you're going at top speed?

Most e-bikes have automatic brake cut off for the motor to stop the motor fighting your desire to stop as soon as brakes are applied.

Also many bikes have a top speed set beyond which power will again cut off or simply top out at max rpm. Is your bike topping out at a local speed limit? many bikes sold in areas under regulation (eu/uk) are supplied with limited firmware restricting options that can be selected

What you describe could be expected function depending on what you mean. pictures of the bike and its display and any model numbers to id your bike will help determine what you have and what you should expect
