From the 25second mark to the 40second mark you can see deathbike in the video. :)

The video and story itself is also very cool, and I covered it a few weeks ago on here for you guys, but this article does a better job and is pretty good stuff.

Enjoy!

Did Troy ride the deathbike?

Nope, he didn't get the chance yet. He will someday soon. :)

I love how he pans across a bunch of production e-motos, and then we casually see a push bike with a monstrous motor bolted to it, and that doesn't warrant comment.

It reminds me of a character in an Australian TV show who does "sneaky nuts", where in the middle of sedate group photos being taken he sneakily pulls his ball-sack out to see if anyone will notice in the photo the totally out of place hairy bean bag.

Deathbike looks pretty scary to me! Cool vid and article, thanks for the link. I like the idea of that zero class racing, the bikes so matched it's all rider skill and strategy for the win.

I've always been a fan of small displacement racing. The races when riding is about braking as little as possible and running the smoothest lines through the corners. It's like a dance; tender, graceful. And then the drafting, it adds unpredictableness and excitement. That race looked like a lot of fun!

I also want add that I really liked the video. Nice guy, nice music. They both create an atmosphere which suits the race and the efficiency of the vehicles. Really a great video.

In the video it's mentioned that you decided to change gearing. Which speeds did they reach with the new gearing? riding alone and in the slipstream?

One other thing I've always wondered is if the rider being slipstreamed gains some speed from that? My thinking is that he might, because the rider behind is pushing air into the wake, which should create a higher pressure behind the bike in front. So both of them runs faster? (but the bike behind gains more of course).
