After riding a bike regularly with a 250W hub motor and having the motor burn out from mountain biking, I have learnt my lesson from that (maybe). Obviously I need something with more power, but how do I know how much more power?
My Norco Scene is a step-through city bike in which I would like to be able to do at least 60km distance and maybe not more than 40km/h. I'm attracted to the torque sensing motors of ToSeven but would like to know more about reliability and repairability. Can you get parts to make all necessary repairs to ToSeven motors?
Is the bigger DM01 motor necessary for reliability or should I get the DM02? Is 48v or 52v better for either of these options? Can you do hilly areas on a hot day with the DM02 or BBS02?
I couldn't find any suppliers in Australia so I assume I would buy from the ToSeven Ali Express account if purchasing from them?

Thanks!
