Here we go again..

..was doing more spring cleaning and was about to toss out the old crappy al-yoo-min-yum Kent MTB but just couldn't do it cos I love bicycles that much. I began planning to convert it to a 26" extended utility bike with a steel swing arm but one thing led to another and the next thing I knew I was looking at my Revive. Bingo! The Revive extention/26"Conversion idea I had awhile back came to mind, (can't seem to find that thread) CIMG0002x.jpgAdd to the fact that it will be fitted with a chrome-assed lowrider altermotor and my obsessive wheels began revving up up all over again. Then again, when has the bicycle lust ever stopped?

Anyway, the old kent frame will now be a 20" MTB powered by this treadmill I found in the middle of the street last week, and a team of Syberian huskies (running on top of it) that followed me home that same day. :?

Kidding about the dogs, but yeah, a treadmill in the middle of the street!

yeah, I wanted to cannibalize it but I would have to pay to have the rest disposed of.

It was actually a small treadmill, I thought it might've been a dog walker . Is there such thing?

did you ever build it?
Hi!

No, I haven't worked on anything. I'm just too scatter-brained with way too many mini projects piling up in the back burner

-diy wrist rocket for my boy
-diy solar motor boat for the fish tank
-my Revive's kickstand broke, need to fab mounts for a stand-up kickstand
-edit:eek:h and a tubular fish tank that's angled in the corner of the living room 8)
-
-
-and my latest obsession...a two sailboard sailing catamaran! 8) 8) 8)

ive never done that but looks like fun.

They say that a man has so many projects in order to keep him busy and away from the wife so she has time to clean the house.

LOL ok not true but love the saying.
wait I think I might have just made it up.

hhmm I'll have to add that to my book of Chinese proverbs!

Yeah, sailing is fun, and challenging. Motorbikes and motorboats doesn't appeal to me anymore, it's boring. You can go from a to b, round and round really fast, but where's the challenge? But leaning a boat at high speeds with wind power is a farkin THRILL.

And without engine noise, imagine that!

I found two used 9' longboards at a used shop yesterday and their lowest price was $230 in good condish. I was hoping for about $50 a pop even if it's beat up, as long as it's not water-logged. I may be able to find some free ones in the classifieds by people who don't wanna pay for disposal fees.

several years back, I was looking to buy a small Yamaha 14 or 16 footer but couldn't come up with a place to store the hull. So I figured something collapsable would be ideal! 8) 8) 8)
