Derailleurs that meet the challenge....

Having been using a Alfine 8 for years, I have been temped to switch back to a rear derailleur for with the mid drive. What do you recommend as a tough as nails unit that would handle the 1000 watt mid drive.

derailleurs don't "see" the 1000w. they just move the chain between the cogs.

but if they're misaligned the results are catastrophic for any derailleur. and for the derailleur hanger too
