So I want to buy this bike:
http://www.cyclingdeal.com.au/buy/2013-hasa-mountain-bike-full-shimano-24-speed-with-lockout-fork/COMP1013

And put this on it:
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110946416899

Now, would I be able to somehow use the disc brakes AND the sprocket?

Any help appreciated!

This is what I've found so far:
http://www.kingssalesandservice.com/category/top-hat-sprocket-adaptors/

So basically I want to make a bike with the engine kit on it with disc brakes.

Cheers, Vince

Go with the top hat adapter if you're going to do that.

But beware that it is machined improperly and there will be slop in the assembly.
Don't expect any communication from the seller if you have problems.
Sometimes orders even go missing after being paid for.
If you get the guy on the phone, he will ramble for hours.

Here is a video i made on that topic.

This is a more expensive option, but think about the ultimate costs - a tophat adapter + sprocket from kingssales is about $80-$90. This is $85, but you can outfit it with various bicycle chainrings to adjust your ratio later on. You may spend $30 more, but it will be worth it in the long run.

Here's some cheaper chainrings.

As for the gas motor stuff, go to http://motorbicycling.com/, they are the best forum i know of for that topic.
