Hate to revive such an old thread but this was actually one of the top google results when I was searching for an electric throttle so hopefully this will help someone out.
All of the options here are good but there's some new ones now.
I just bought a SUR-RON replacement throttle for $36, much cheaper than the magura and domino throttles (both of which are awesome, domino throttle mas micro switch for safety, check it out!)
The earlier SUR RON's used one of those throttle cable to electric throttle signal boxes (pot box / actually hall effect box). But they seem to use a twist throttle now, not sure if it's hall effect or potentiometer.
