E-S member Ryan brought his 5305 powered bike over to troubleshoot the motor. We pulled it open and the insulation is gone off one area of windings.
So we slapped his 72v20ah of batteries onto my Downtube. It was a little unbalanced with all that weight on the rear rack.
To their credit, the performance wasn't any better than the usual 72v3ah of Makitas (although of course the range must be extraordinary, even pulling burnouts all the time I can go a couple of miles on 3ah). 27mph top speed no pedaling on a Bafang. Must be controller limited (1500W ecrazyman).
