I bought a classic Stokemonkey kit and then I decided I wanted to use motor and not pedal now and then. I came up with this drive which uses a modified White Industries 135mm Ecentric Eno Hub.
The first image shows of the proposed replacement shell to the White Industries 135mm Eccentric Eno Hub. Also shown is a new splined cog. The hub shell becomes a tubular intermediate shaft which features two fixed gears and one freewheel. A male spline is added to the shell on the RHS beside and inside of the freewheel thread for mounting the new cog. The objective is to have the freewheel cog and the new drive cog very close together. This has been achieved with this arrangement. The minor dia of the hub male spline is slightly bigger than 1.375". The cog has an internal mating spline. The cog and hubs splines are just like the track cog spline on the LHS of Eccentric ENO but larger so the cog clears the freewheel threads for assembly. The freewheel acts as the lockring. The second image is a schematic showing the drive train for my bike. IMG_1641.jpg The third image shows a side view sketch of the components for my Big Dummy installation. The mount for the eccentric drive shaft swings and is clamped to tension the chain from the crank. The Eccentric Eno is used to tension the motor chain. The wheel drive chain uses a spring loaded chain tensioner. I like using Stauff 1 1/16" vibration damping clamps to mount the assembly on the Big Dummy frame tubes without harming them. These are available at McMaster Carr, item # 3015T36. IMG_1636.jpg The last image shows the bracket I made which supported the motor in the classic stokemonkey way but using the Stauff clamps. There is a third clamp which wasn't installed. It is mounted to the side tube and prevents the assembly from twisting.
Possibly White Industries might manufacture these shells and the new cogs and offer a complete assembly for sale of this new version of the Eccentric Eno. If that won't happen, maybe someone might manufacture the shell only, and cogs.
