Wow......been 1 year since the last update...... how is everyone's build doing? This year, I totally rebuilt my mid drive hub drive cruiser. it's now an AWD bike still using the old ass GNG gen 2 mid drive and now instead of the old heavy Magic Pie 2 rear hub, I switch it to the newer MAC geared hub motor, an 8T that lives in the front wheel. The balance of the bike had been improved significantly. Stops better too as it got disc brakes all around now compared to the older genesis astra 29er cruiser before. I wanted to have double tree front suspension fork but most got a 20mm truaxle so the only option I have for a front motor is the new front truaxle Grin hub motor.... I'm still waiting for MAC to finally release that damn truaxle front MAC that they showed during interbike 2015.... anyway, I dont know if I still meet the criteria for this thread but I'll upload it anyway. Also one of our guys at ESFB got a rather extreme example of a rear hub+mid drive setup using a cromotor for the mid drive part and a modern grin 9c rear hub motor in a long tail cargo bike. I'm trying to get him to post his build here for archiving.
