Hi,
I have 3 E-bikes with the E-ABS wire. I've enable E-ABS by shorting the wire and the brake levers are also connected to the controller. The indicator on the LCD seems to imply that regenerative braking is occurring (it shows the battery indicator charging) when I pull the brake levers. The main reason I want to utilize the E-abs is to minimize the wear and tear on the brake pads rather than the minimal amp gains with regenerative braking.
However, it doesn't feel as if electronic braking is actually occurring? Ie, very little stopping power - most of the stopping power seems to be coming from the mechanical brake pads. is there something else that needs to be done to activate e-abs?
Thanks
