Damn Korpin, for some reason, I was thinking you were a a 20 something kid. Very nice pic. I can relate, this last summer, my dad and I rode some terrain that has been close to Motorcycles since 1984. Yah, Ebikes are pretty amazing at getting us into places quickly without causing a disturbance to the tree huggers.

yeah lots of horse riders too I just slow down and go the side the horses hardly notice me....motorcycles not allowed on these trails no trouble from the law yet just had a sheriff on horseback tell me to slow down was going like 35-40 mph

That's the secret with Ebikes. Slow down and pedal when people are around. Doing these two things will allow you to take your Phasor anywhere a MTB is allowed, or can get away with.

above Pacific Coast Highway near Pt Mugu beautiful place to ride some of the roads are more like firebreaks

I'm the one that had the issues on the Perth group ride (last time I needed a tow) but I still managed to complete the Distance even though the motor cover on the freewheel side cast broke.

Have some video to post as well but I hate the go pro editing software. Given up tonite in frustration.

Today I removed the side cover and painted a silver side cover from another motor black.

Always good to keep your old motors for this reason.

Nice bikes and nice scenery, men. Pedal hard and stay out of the throttle when Johnny law is around. Also never put others in danger, our speeds could be lethal! Thanks for the pictures.

Hey Rod, nice pics of the Blue Phasor, no matter how many times I see it, I think it looks tough with the 17 MC rear knobby and the 24MTB front.

Rick

Wow! Beautiful video of the blue beast and company. Thanks Rodney, Looks like you are getting awesome weather.

Dang Rod, talk about a beautiful bike path. wow! BTW, how did you break your side cover on the hubbie? You said once before but I forgot.

Welcome to the forum Sab3r Electrics. Good to see a crown build. Looking forward to seeing the end result. What dropout width did you end up deciding on.

Keep us posted and any questions ask. If you have time photos please. It's all time consuming but good too reflect back on for you and others.

i have gone with a standard crystaltye controller for now with TC-80 on a 26" double wall DH rim and razorback extreme offroad tyres. For the shocks i decided on Rock Shocks double crown forks with 7" of travel and 4" of travel at the rear. For a battery i have gone with a 90 volt 20 amp hour pack with lipo cells with a 40c burst rating.

Looks good, make sure you mount the controller on the outside of the frame. Not inside as they get too hot. My lessen that's all.

I would take 24" rims for better torque.

I had thought about a 24" but the torque is more then is needed from this direct drive motor anyway plus the tyres i wanted did not come in a 24" size.

Number one rule is that you can never have enough of torque.
You always want more :D

Is that Duro Razorbacks you mean? They are standard on Stealth - 24"
