Coming together well. the trick to getting the rear swing arm into the correct position to install the locking pin is to place the swing arm in then pull it out as its a tight fit.

Now for the rear shock. I need to grind 2.5mm off the spacers for the shock to fit, which I'll do tomorrow.

Filed the spacers back to 25mm. Now having an issue fitting the rear shock. It will only fit this way which is the opposite to the Phasor prototype. Its the same shock and length not sure if it'll work this way or not.

Will this work, any suggestions

Just looked up the Phasor components list. I made a mistake but I think it'll work

Below shock from prototype.

Shock 9.5" eye to eye, 3" stroke*, 8mm eye diameter, Shock tab width 1" Fox DHX 5.0 coilover 9.5" eye to eye 3" stroke, 700lb spring

Finished for today. Tomorrow will install the bottom bracket and look at the chain line. The current 7 speed rear cassette is a 14 tooth. Will look at a 11-32 tooth rear for a good top speed. Hoping to go for a 44-46 front sprocket but will be determined by the chain clearance from the rear swing arm.

Just to be doubly sure, you can comfortably fit a 410 mm long, 82 mm wide and 160 mm high pack in there?

It does look out of place. Do you still have any of those wide rims available Hyena? What spoke length would I need and where would I get them from.

yea I have concerns about buying a rear shock myself never had full suspension. Is it possible for the seat pos to hit the shock in that configuration ?
Looked like my only concern.

When I was sitting on the bike last night the shock was missing the seat post so Its workable. After I install the bottom bracket and pedals that's when I'll cut the seat post.
Sitting on the bike it's very long for my height 5.9 but I'm not over streached.
I purchased the head set from a bike shop on Monday and plan on going back today after work to have it installed correctly.

Do you still have any of those wide rims available Hyena?

Yeah got some 24x2" left and 1 of the giant 24x3s (like on the original phasor prototype) The 24x3s probably wouldn't stand up to real rough offroading, I'm planning to use those for a largely street ridden build.
I'd recommend glowworm bicycles for custom cut spokes here in Australia. Otherwise Johnrobholmes.

Your seat angle looks whack too, the nose needs to be tilted down. Unless you're dirt jumping you'll slide off the back of that :lol:

I have cut my seat post so it doesn't protrude past the frame and adjusted the seat angle.

Sitting on the bike feels really good. Bought back memories riding trail bikes in my younger days.

I have taken a few pics and will up load shortly.

Rear disc fitted. Look at the chain line tomorrow. Will the brake fit? Find out tomorrow.

I am new to this forum but have been following your build. Just curious, whats your inseam length? Look like a person would need to be tall for stand over clearance on the phasor frame running 26" wheels. Nice build. What the projected bike weight going to be?

My inside legs about 750mm the bikes 830 but it's not an issue. When sitting on a full suspension bike they sink anyway. Similar to a trail bike.

Hey Rodney,

I am balancing your pack tonight; should be done by Saturday since we left the pack half drained from our little load test the other week I will cover the top in silicone too so it's ready to install on Saturday. We will have to get some spacers made up for the corners, and I will try to devise a means to hold the pack down to prevent it from moving too much in the vertical. Side to side and the bottom is good for some 6 mm foam pressed in, but the lengthwise movement and up-down needs some thought.

Chris / Rodney - Clark Rubber has a good selection of foam that might be handy to prevent the battery from moving around.
I bought a large blue square piece of foam from them for this very purpose for my last bike, i think it was a gymnastics mat or something.

Its looking great so far Rodney, can't wait to see it in person
