HD-Killer, your Phasor has some awesome accelleration! When you punched it, I was reminded of the scene in "Firefox" when Clint hits the afterburners and the scenery starts to go by in fast forward.

My camera stopped recording on my last bush ride. But last night I left it on to fully discharge. Today I put it onto charge and its back working.
So hopefully its ok.

HD Killer, thanks for snapping a pic with the side cover off. Wow, Stanno ha Panello! Precise fit!. You couldn't have done a better job with the power packs. That is a great build. The cromotor really likes your setup. That motor sounded happy accelerating like a bat out of hell. Thanks for posting the video. This is what I like about the Phasor, the builders can do what ever they want to. Its all in the preference.

There are 2 packs across 3.85 inches wide, the frame is 4 inches. "That's an 8kw pack!" do you mean 8kwh? if so let me clarify. The pack is 25s4p 25 cells in series 3.7 volts each X 25 = 92.5 volts. Cells are 8 amp hour each and there are 4 paralleled 4 X 8ah =32ah. Volts X amp hour = watt hour 92.5V X 32ah = 2960wh or 2.96Kwh

The way I read it was 20 - 5s 8Ah batteries (20*5*8= 8000W)

All good except there is no way you will get 8ah out of an 8ah rated LiPo. With a bit of safety margin 6.5ah usable is what you should be basing the total capacity.
So 2.5kWh for the total pack would be a good safe usable total capacity. Impressive all the same 8)

Do you do any offroad riding with "the tank"? How is the handeling with the frame completely filled with batteries. I was checking out your picture with the cover off again and the question popped into my head. I have been to Florida a couple of times so I know that its not very hilly, but sand sucks up power in a hurry. Anyway If you have ridden your machine off road, let me know what you think.

Hey Rod, good video. I laughed when your buddy commented about punching king lycrashit in the nose. Your buddy should have put king lycrashit down, but he didn't and thats probably better for ebikers everywhere. When I ride, I sometimes get the same types of comments. I really don't understand why strangers are compelled to share their unsolicited smart ass comments and opinions with me. What I ride doesn't affect them. Having said all of that, I will gladly (and do) take the time answer questions about my ride. Anyway keep the videos coming. I enjoy them.

anybody looking to buy a brand new phasor frame with roxx shoxx shock and forks?....the reason I am asking is I was having a bike built by a local ebike place and they have been working on it since june....and its still in the box so I am having doubts on wether they can build it....willing to give them another few weeks then I am done hopefully everything will be worked out but just making contingency plans

Rix very difficult when these type of comments happen. Andy must have been well trained in his previous employment as he was extra polite.
well let me talk to them and see how much of my deposit I CAN GET BACK...gave them 4000.00 deposit on 4/10/12 and another 3000.00 since damm its going on 8 months!....the frame is at HPC in northridge,ca these guys originally told me they could build me a bike with more power than the the stealth but 30 pounds less and 2000.00 less money and with regen and the same amount of travel but things have changed:
1)now there will no regen they say
2)now they are say they will take the power down a notch
3)it will have a little less travel than the stealth
4)the price climbed to 9500.00
5)last week he said something like "maybe we can give you back some of your money"
it would still be cool if it would come in under 85 pounds with the same wattage as the stealth but I am losing faith in these guys...will have talk to them next week and get a definitive answer in the meantime anybody interested pm me and if I think these guys cannot come thru,will give you a price I am really hoping this can all be worked out but it does not look good at the moment perhaps its just some technical issues I do not know I am not an expert has anybody here delt with HPC? are they ok?..other people have told me that its way too long but this is the first time I ordered an ebike so I DID NOT KNOW.

Would be a shame to be end up with nothing after all you put in.
I helped my brother put together his white Phasor, all the things you listed above should be achievable for around $7k
