E-S Phasor Electric Bike Owners

Rod, how'd you go with the controller mod?
last thing i got was your going to contact Lyen to confirm the resistor you had to sub in for the diode and allow the CA V3 to plug in and have throttle to the CA V3.

I'm looking foward to seeing the finished product.

No haven't contracted lyen yet. On Wednesday I some how cut the phase wires and more than Likley have blown this controller. Today I upgraded my phase wires on the cromotor, actually Jessie did, thanks mate.

After getting the motor back together it still wouldn't go. Even with new phase wires the motor was still clogging. So now the phaser has a green time controller 18 fet and pulls well considering it a 75 dollar controller.

Had a good blast ( thrashed it) around the streets of south Fremantle. Motor and controller only warm. Must say that the the 5305 on Jessie's bike performed well. The cromotor had more top speed but I was running 24s while Jessie's running 20s.

So Rod, the Lyen controller is toast?
Jesse what wire is it? 10g or 8g turnigy silicone?

Not sure about the controller pendragon as I haven't opened it up. May just have pulled one of the phase wires off the board when it shit itself and I needed to disconnect it to stop the. Logging. Was on the way to the pub and I was pissed (that pissed off) and yes I was pissed when my wife pick me up 2 hours latter. Anyway off for a ride now.

I'll ask jesse to change the cap it's raised

Yes, being pissed, in Aussie speak is a good thing.

What about acceleration, who had more power of the line?
Sorry missed your post Alex. Both motors has similar acceleration. I'm 25 odd kg heavier than Jessie and I was running 24s and Jessie 20s. I'd had the top end speed at 45kph. Both motors were warm Jessie side covers were drilled mine weren't he was running a 15 fet and I was running a 18 fet but the 5305 performed admirably neither of us were pedalling

Defiantly great to see a system that works for your phasor rod :D
After riding your bike you should run the halls since your motor with out them had a rough spot and that's hard on controllers. Like promised I just ordered 3 more of the controllers

Now to fix my bike up and pray that during the ride I don't accidentally ride through Perths Bermuda Triangle Again

Rodney, Rix, and Jesset. Good to see all your post. Here is a picture of my new green button regen throttles, also Got my new Orange Phasor. I'll send pictures soon.

I see you have 12AWG inside the motor now. Are they taking the beating fine? I tucked turnigy 10AWG in my 5403 without modifying the axle :) Had to replace silicone insulation with heatshrink.

Yes 10 AWG would of been better but using 12 gauge meant that I didn't need to remove the silicone. Not sure what kilowatt that I can push though it but after a good thrashing the controller were only warm and wires had no heat at all.

Lyens 4115 18 fet uses the same wire.
