The rear mudguard is called a marsh guard but the loads out there the same, comes as a flat bit of plastic,
U just cable tie it on
Iv got one on front aswell

Thanks for the info!
I have my rear spring wrapped like yours but I think that the rear mudguard would help as well.

These are the one I use, Ergon 1. I find these much much more comfortable than the stock ones, or any round ones. They give you better wrist supports and better shock absorption.

These two I have powder coated black.

This is what they look like stock.

I bought a set of these grips, and I like your black lock rings so much I took mine to get them power coated too. It's going to be about a week. I really don't care for them silver

I got some bad news. Since I dropped my bike the day we had the earthquake, I've been riding without my streamers, and now I've gotten used to them not being there.

Terrible news Theo :(

I think the new wheels look pretty good on #555

I can't understand why you guys want headlights with external battery's. It's so much nicer running the lights off the bikes electrical system.

WOW BOARS, very nice with the moto wheels front and rear, how do you like it?

Here is the first vid I mad for 2015. Bright sunny day, 49F, no snow. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xbG4ZILyR_I

I wouldn't leave the charger on all night. maybe once in a great while you could charge over night as the charger may toggle off and on while the bms handles balancing duties, but not all of the time. The 2 hours is a guide line, depending on what the temp is and how much you discharge during a ride, could take 3 hours, even more.

thanks Rix and i will go in the shed at midnight and see how its charging better 2 be safe only had it half a day lol
I just had a brain wave could i put a timer on the charger to switch off after 3 hours?
and whats the best kick stand for the bomber or are they no safe to use?

thx
steve

You'll find it's like clock work, 6 ah will take 1 hour, 12 ah with take 2 hours, and 18 ah with take 3 hours. When you know how many ah you've used when you start the charge you'll be able to estimate the time till the charger shut's off to within about 15 minutes.

It's not a matter of want, a lot of people don't have the electrical knowledge to make that happen.
That and people can be lazy.

In my case it's a little of column A and a little of B.

The light came for free, so I'm using it as is until I can be bothered dealing with the issue of having to wire it in.
I don't have the required knowledge or tools to do the work to transition it across and have other priorities at the moment.

The amount of effort required to charge it is next to nothing when I have to charge the bike already.

It doesn't look all that fancy but that doesn't bother me much.

The height of those handle bars look pretty comfy.

Just the default bars but yeah they are sitting pretty high on the stem - I'm pretty tall so I need them way up - the dropper seat post helps in that regard too.

Loving them so far, can just ride over so many things that I'd not have dared to on my mountain bike rims
Took them for a night time bash up some fire trails behind my house the other night, I'm far more confident with them.

Yah, that's the big advantage of MC wheels front and rear, way way more confidence. Glad you are liking the MC conversion.

Even just simple things like riding along an edge of concrete path and grass as you ride around obstacles on paths feels much more stable and in control.

I'd never go back to the mountain bike wheels.

Feels a touch heavier but I've spent the last couple of months on a light weight mountain bike so that's probably just the contrast between the two speaking.

I need to do a lot more off road riding yet but so far zero complaints from me

went in the shed at 12.30 and noticed the charger fan was not spinning and had one green light and one red light and battery was only at 58%
and im sure it should of been fully charged by then i hope its not a faulty charger or battery

thx

That's an easy one to answer. I have 2 Luma 750s, one on my helmet one on the handlebars. When riding off road is very beneficial to have light where you are looking and where the front of your bike is pointing. I've ridden with a single unit mounted to the handlebars and having both I would never go back. Now you could say that I could wire them both but then I would have a cable that could easily get caught on brush running up my back. And to boot I use my lights for more than just my bomber. Camping, working on cars, hiking etc. Its much more flexible that way. So I disagree with you on this one it is much nicer to have a seperate unit. Maybe if I only road street I may have a different opinion.

I did a reset in the menu and it went to 100% battery life so that's sorted
and how about a timer on the charger say for 3 or 4 hours then it switches off?
and does anyone use a side stand?
whats the best looking helmet to buy?

thx
steve
