@ Steve. Jimboy R6 gives the best advice you can get. I know that it may or may not be feasable for some to test ride a Fighter or Bomber before buying, this thread is filled with almost 400 pages of rider owner experiences. I cant even begin to summerise how great Stealth Machines are and compare them to a Moped. ? Here is a vid of Brandon MIers riding a stock Fighter next to an old 1983 (?) XR80. Probably the closest you will get for a comparison. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W7SksVieEvM

A moped is really not a good comparison. Like comparing a 80cc dirtbike to an 80cc moped. They are not in the same class. People here use them for commuting but the design is for offroad. And there are way too many variables in the moped world. a suzuki burgman is 650cc moped vs a cheap 50cc knockoff moped. Think of them as an 80cc 4 stroke dirtbike. The power is slightly different but they are around the same.

Does anyone know if the Chris King SteelSet headset will fit the head tube of the Fighter? It has extra long cup skirts:

thanks for any info or personal experience...peter

I use one in my Bomber and I see no reason why the head tubes would differ.

The Stealth Bomber has around 6 - 6.5 HP stock depending on witch model you have. The newer or the older 4500W or 5200W respectively. A 50 cc moped here in Norway should usually lay in the neighborhood of 2- 3.5 HP. According to the road safety LAW. But some have more and some have less. But 3.5 HP is maximum legal limit, here in Norway anyway.

Hey Rix that was a great comparison video. I checked some of his other vids and thought this one was a good ad for the fighter.

Yah, it really is a great video for promoting the Fighter. Brandyn can ride, he makes the stuff he filmed look easy when it isin't for us mortals.

Has anyone had the front steering tube deform to become oval shape on a Bomber or Fighter?

I have never heard of that happening before on our machines. Not very common with dual crown forks, no impossible either I guess, whats up? Is your head tube slightly ovalized?

In Europe, a moped is max 4 kW (so ~5.4 hp) and 45 km/h. There isn't any power limitation for ICE mopeds, they just can't go above 45 km/h with a 50 cc engine. But for the electric models, you can't go above 4 kW NOMINAL (so 10 kW peak or more is "allowed"meaning the 4kW limit is a bit useless).
It looks strange that Norway follows it's own specific regulations...

Is there really any difference, or is this just tech speak? 5200 reflects peaks, or 4500 reflects closer to continuous. The newer bikes don't seem to have any higher top speed. I've personally seen over 5000w momentary peaks on my bike.

We had a Tragic accident here were i live this weekend. Were a young Girl in here early 20's was run down and killed by a car. She was dressed in dark clothes in the dark, on a unlit road. And i have seen many bicyclists that is very difficult to see in the dark. Especially seen from the side.

But this might be something that could make a Bike a lot more visible. I have fitted these to my Bomber and they work great. And they are really inexpensive as well. 2 - 4 USD a piece on Ebay.

Stritzky,

Relating to the light design and getting noticed for the bicycle, the best I have seen is the MonkeyLectric bike wheels design/lights.Just my opinion of course. They arnt as cheap as your light posted but still really cool! FYI

Yes I have to agree the Monkey Light M232 is probably the most asome system to date. But it is large and heavy. It measures 7" Inches in length an is not rated for speeds any higher than 65 Kph or 40 Mph So it's not well suited on a Bomber :-(

Time for "im a genius post..."

So I was riding the bomber yesterday at around 30+ mph and I heard this clicking noise coming from the left side of the bike (left when riding it). It was intermittent but only happened at higher speeds. I didn't hear it for the rest of the ride and examined the bike and saw nothing wrong. Today I go for a ride and again at 30+ mph I hear it. I happen to be in the 2nd to the top gear each time. This time I can recreate it. I change gears still hear it.....I stop pedaling...Still hear it. Oh crap. its prob electrical...is a sensor inside the motor going bad??? Is one of the wires shorting??? Maybe its a battery??? CRAP!!!....As I ride at speed I look down to see if it's happening at a certain amount of watts.... each time I look down at the cycle analyst the clicking stops??? WTF??? I double check... same thing... How is this possible???? Then like a dim witted 10 watt light bulb a thought illuminates....

I put a light on top of my helmet 2 days ago and the flap from the mount was fluttering against my helmet.....DOH! Genius.......

Hey guys,

Winter came early here in Canada. I really want to keep riding throughout the winter but I don't think the Bomber will hold up. What could I do to keep this dream alive? I've also been looking at other ebike options. The last week we got hit by a snow storm and I had to spend at least 4 to 5 hours throughout the day on a bus to get to where I needed to. I would love to be able to ride year round especially now that I purchsed an incredible Mission Workshop Vandal bag that keeps everything dry as well as expands up to 4000 cubic inches.

Hey boys.. any tips how to remove freewheel from stealth bomber... my one is super super hard to remove... cheers
