Hi guys,

I found this model stand-up e-scooter with dead batteries, for 40€, brushed 800w motor, I just plug 12S10AH Lipo and it works well, but I want more power !

I would like to upgrade the motor and controller for off-road, I think 50kmh will be fine.

I saw on youtube the same model with 80-100 turnigy motor, but maybe this motor is too powerful and I could find another cheaper.

What do you think, do you have an idea of a cheap brushless motor I could easily install (and controller eventually, or maybe I could re-use my Lyen 12fet) ? (H25 transmission)

Thank you a lot !

There is some little hub motor for such scooter... that I would love to see how they behave above their rated 500W
otherwise, you could go the plane/heli outrunner route, ...mine goes 50kph on a 63mm motor
but a friend of mine which has the same as yours, just bought a 1000W brushed motor and runs it with an 800W ESC that I gave him: that might be the most reliable option since you plan some off road rides
