Hi,
I just bought a eb218 that always runs on full throttle.
I programmed all 3 speeds to 30% and the speed limit to 50%. Connecting a throttle does not make a difference and the cycle analyst override signal gets ignored too.
The second odd thing is that the current limit is 25A. If I program the controller to 10A or 15A, it is limiting at this value. But 30A or 45A does not make any difference.
Phase current is 2.5 times the current.
My setup
EB218-AS-1
pedal first, PAS V7 connected
crystalyte 409 (also tried a HT3525)
3 speed switch
throttle
cycle analyst (shunt calibrated)
I was running the same setup with a EB209 before and had to install a new PAS sensor cause V5 did not work with the new controller.
Does anybody have a clue what could be wrong?
In the case the MCU is damaged, can I replace it with the one from my burned EB209? I could not find a place where to buy a single XCKJ8B116A.
Thanks a lot
