I switched displays on my 15kW bomber and immediately got the 30H error. It’s not a connection issue because the old display works fine and the bike runs fine with no connected display. When the UKC1 is turned on I get the error and some strange sounds from the hub motor like a beeping noise while it spins. I’ve tried changing the #of poles in the display parameters but that makes no difference. When I shut off the display the bike runs fine again. Any ideas? It’s supposedly a fardriver 72270 controller but I didn’t build it so I can’t be certain.

The new display probably either has incompatible firmware, or uses incompatible comm protocols (or hardware) or both.
Displays and controllers are not generally intercompatible, as there are quite a few different ways they may be designed to communicate, and the data they send/receive, and the format of that data.
