I recently ordered a 1500w 48 volt ebike kit

I bench tested it and no joy so changed controller to another and it worked fine

Left it turn on it started to move a few milimeters by its self then stop and do same again.

There is no learning wire and it's a very simular kit to what Tony ( vortecks ) used in his budget build but with lcd screen.

Now it don't work at all

Any ideas would be gratefully appreciated

You have to play the "find the phase and Hall wire combination" game. It's fun when you win.

To me it always feels like fooling around. But it always works.

If you have a throttle, the movements could be from poor/intermittent ground wire continuity. I'd check the connector and make sure it's seated properly.
