ebike list @ September's 2009 Interbike in Las Vegas

While at Interbike this year I focused a little on the complete electric bike makers at the show. These are complete turnkey electric bikes. Even with all the do-it-yourselfers here I think this will be interesting stuff. I will post a little here, but my full blog and more, higher res pics are up at http://www.comcycle-usa.com

The Kona Electric Ute was a favorite of mine. In process for over a year now and still not released, though.

Kilowatt's carbon and bamboo frame was amazing

A2B made and electric scooter based on their bike by replacing the crankset with some platforms.

According the their website, those are 20 x 3.0 Kenda Kraze, they are listed in Kenda's discontinued section. In 20" diameter, they look even beefier the a 24 or 26" 3.0 tire, I think. A quick search shows other tires in that size, though, like Innova

I went to Interbike too, but I just went to the 2009 Interbike. Somehow DirtDad was transported a year into the future, and went to Interbike 2010!

There were a huge number of electric bike manufacturers there. Most of them were very pedestrian, and limited to 250 watts, 15 MPH, or pedal assist. Here are the ones that stood out of the crowd:

Yes, my time capsule is most excellent. However, 2010 did look a lot like 2009, looks like it needs some fine tuning. Topic title updated, thanks. Complete bikes must conform to legal limits, in most states that is 20mph. If you want more than that, you gotta mod it or make it yourself as most do on this forum. Complete bikes also use pedals assist and ebrakes for the same reasons.
