What would you guys like to have if there is such a thing as electric bike operating system exists? I think it would be awesome if ebike has its own OS.

These guys seem like a fun bunch... seen here:Lock said:... and one Partner listed, CAN in Automation e.V. (CiA)
Yes that would be awefullDoctorbass said:IF anyone here is interested to reverse ingeneer the BionX new CANbus console, i know many person would be interested!!
The guy at the BionX factory said to me that they use a bridge CANBUS-USB commonly known as BIB (Bike interface Box)
I wonder is someone here could extract the code from a console ( I have one new CANbus on my hands now...)
Please let me know!

I dont think Microchip would them make custom versions of theire normal product and then They just burned the readwritefuse and as we all know there where ways to break trough this security and get into the chip without the hardcode method.swbluto said:I *really* doubt bionx would program their microcontroller such that it would be readable by conventional methods. What you'll need is to send it to someone in china, fork over a few grand, and wait while they use a laser to knock out the lock bit and/or tap the address/data lines directly inside the chip.
Also let's not forget that we need WIRED to anounce that you can now run doom on a bike. And to control the player you gotta ride and honk to shoot. Not recommended for use on busy streetsThis would be awesome if there were a cycle-analyst on crack kind of thing, which had a large color LCD display. I can think of endless amounts of applications.
-Motor controller feedback, control, on the fly
-Traction control
-all of cycle analyst functions
-logging of all sorts
-remote control/security
-GPS tracking/navigation
-lighting control
-Battery monitoring/charge control
Needless to say this is one of those dreaming threads...![]()
