This is a short documentary where I went to China to look at the electric bike scene. There is video of the typical electric bicycles seen around China and also of the higher end models made for export. Many pictures and video were taken at the bicycle show "China Cycle 2010". There is also some video of the factories where the electric bikes are produced.

Toward the end the guy is banging around the wire side of the axles on that table without a care in the world. Maybe that's why he didn't demonstrate either kit running on an ebike afterward.

The FS Giant about mid way through was awesome. 2 motors on one bike. Thing would climb hills like a mule.

The gas bikes looked best to me. I wonder why someone doesn't think of putting a hub motor on them?
