Has anybody seen or used this EcoEasy Rider bike?

http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/bik/4595078865.html

There is one on the local Craigslist and I am thinking about picking it up, but it has a dead battery. Seems to me at this price it would be hard to go wrong, but I've been down this road before...Thinking something is an easy fix and spending WAY too much time trying to get it up and running.

Thoughts on replacing the battery?

Thanks

At that price, buy it.
Even if you have to replace the Battery, you will come out ahead.
this batt. might work;

You think its 24 volt? The limited info I can find lead me to believe 36.

Here's the bike and some specs. I'm guessing it's a 250W motor. I wouldn't pay $250 for it new.

These sort of bikes are very easy to fix if you have basic electrical knowledge and can use a multi-meter. A new motor is about $100, the battery $300 (max), controller $30, charger $30. Only one of those will be faulty - if any. All the parts are readily available from Chinese suppliers and others. When fixed, it's worth maybe $400 to $500 to sell, but if it's the sort of thing you want, it could be worth a lot more to you.
