During the month of November I added an electric assist to my Scarab recumbent trike. It is nothing less than awesome. You can look this Monocule pusher electric assist at: http://www.synthetictransport.com. Kent Polk has developed this assist module and I can't give it enough praise. I am disabled and this has really been wonderful for my abilities to make much more extended trips.

Looks good :)

How stable is the pod - does it resonate/wobble side to side at all?

I've just made up an electric pusher trailer myself, and it was harder than I expected. Due to some stability issues (towing behind normal bike) I had to stiffen and lengthen it and now it weighs heaps :(

Easy to disconnect and you have your normal bike back again :D

I have a tadpole trike also- built a 2 wheel pusher, full supension, 2hp dc motor to a jackshaft, 2 bmx freewheels, to 2 10" go cart tires, (both wheels are driven) it is a little heavy also, but can carry lots of weight. Have gone down hill over 25mph very stable.
