Wasn't there someone on here that geared his for something like 60mph?
I tested my BD36 in a 26" rim at 48V and it will do over 30mph no problem (I think).
With that reasoning you may as well use a 600c motorcycle and call it 50cc. If it goes faster then 32km/h it falls in moped category, faster then 50-ish and it's a motorcycle, so on. In the same line of thought, comparing a motorcycle that is insurable/plateable to one that doesn't even have a remote glimmer of a chance seems rather pointless.
It's like time my bro & I left a location jsut about spot on the same time, he was on his motorcycle and I was on a vanilla bike. Without being warmed up I out-accelerated him quite easily, stayed ahead for the first ~15 meters. If we would have been both on fairly similar vehicles such as bicycles or motorcycles or some such, there could have been something to learn say from gearing or whatever.
