So to sum it up I want to make a e-board, and a store near me has a RC car battery (I think) that is 1800MAH I believe. Is this goof enough to do anything on a electric skateboard? Ps. I'm 130-140 pounds. I do not think it will go far but if you guys could help figure out the range this battery would go that would be helpful thanks :)

More questions you answer the more help we can give. Start with Nobuo questions. Plus where do you live ? Plus there also a skateboard section that can help with selections and board questions. Plus there is someone selling skateboard batteries made for skateboards in the for sale new section. Read read read. Before buying.

Thanks, never knew tere was a e-board section :p jjust making sure if the battery would work with my board

I would ask the e-board people what battery works if you don't get the right battery. It's just a waste of money. A battery most match the demands of the controller or the battery will fail or wouldn't fit.

Tell us about your eboard and the battery. What voltage is the battery? Is it Lipo? What is the C rating? What motor(s) and ESC(s) are in your board?

You are not giving nearly enough information for anyone to give you a straight answer. My eboard draws 60+ amps at peak and could easily destroy many batteries in a small number of cycles - very likely the battery you are describing included.
