Has anyone got ahold of one of these to see if they could be used for an ebike?

way under rated for e-bike application.....just too small to handle the loads imposed for driving even a small sized human around on 2 wheels.

Yeah, as far as I've been able to find the rc trannies are too small to handle the torque that is needed for a bike, the rpm on the little wheels used is far too high, so even a larger 1/5 scale baja one will not take more than a few hundred watts at that torque level. Disappointing but true, far as I can gather you will need mod 1.5 at 10mm wide, or bigger.

Anyone come to the same conclusion? Seconded?
